Tax Specialist

As a Tax Specialist at The Wolf Group, Denise provides specialized tax services to clients with international concerns, including expatriates, inpatriates, and high-net-worth individuals with global assets, as well as international organization employees and retirees, and entrepreneurs with foreign interests.

In this capacity, Denise assists US citizens, green card holders, foreign nationals, and US businesses with their income tax matters. She also prepares amended tax returns under IRS Amnesty programs, such as the IRS Streamlined Foreign and Domestic Filing Procedures.

Before joining The Wolf Group, Denise worked for 8 years as a tax professional and Corporate Tax Manager at Ernst & Young. She managed large tax outsourcing engagements in the construction, healthcare, and energy sectors. Her responsibilities included large corporate consolidations with multistate jurisdictional filings, large case IRS audits, and various consulting projects.

After the first 10 years of her career, Denise spent 8 years as an expatriate in Bologna, Italy, where she was active in expatriate and community events; served on the International Women’s Forum; and founded a networking group for international women looking for connection and direction, which she continues to manage following her return to the US in 2021.

Outside of work, Denise enjoys party planning, traveling, and spending time with her family and friends.
