Xavier Patterson

Tax Specialist

Xavier is a Tax Specialist on The Wolf Group team responsible for providing specialized tax services to clients with international concerns, including expatriates, inpatriates, and high-net-worth individuals with global assets, as well as international organization employees and retirees.

In this capacity, Xavier:

  • Prepares resident and nonresident tax returns for US citizens, green card holders, and foreign nationals
  • Assists with foreign income and asset reporting for individuals with cross-border issues and global assets
  • Handles specialized tax reporting for employees and retirees of the World Bank, International Monetary Fund, Inter-American Development Bank, and other international organizations
  • Supports entrepreneurs and other business owners with their self-employment and other business tax matters
  • Prepares amended tax returns in compliance with IRS standards and guidelines
  • Assists foreign clients in navigating the sale or disposition of US-based real estate holdings

Before joining The Wolf Group, Xavier worked as a tax associate in a regional tax firm in his hometown of Tallahassee, Florida, preparing family and small business returns, as well as performing bookkeeping and payroll work for business clients. He also served as a private market investment accountant for the Florida State Board of Administration, helping to manage the assets in the Florida Retirement System and the Florida Pension Fund.

Outside of work, Xavier loves playing basketball, kayaking on Florida’s extensive water network, and travelling with his family to new places around the country.
